Lonnie Cook’s love for cars runs deep. Raised around the sound of engines and the guidance of his father and uncle, he bought his first classic C10 as a teenager—and immediately turned it into his first real project. That truck became his daily driver, his weekend hot rod, and the beginning of a lifelong obsession with building machines that both perform and inspire.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Lonnie pursued his passion professionally, earning an Associate Degree in Automotive Science. Over the next 22+ years, he worked in nearly every corner of the industry—from mechanical to collision centers to vehicle adjusting—gaining the kind of knowledge that only real-world experience can teach.
Known for his precision welding, fabrication mastery, and ability to design intricate performance components, Lonnie bridges old-school craftsmanship with modern automotive technology. His experience runs deep in Chevrolet performance, and more recently he’s been pushing into the Ford arena as well. From exotics to classics to grudge street and race cars, Lonnie has had his hands on just about everything—and brings the same level of dedication and detail to each build.
Lonnie has built his own Pontiac Trans Am street car and a classic C10 hot rod with his father—both of which he still owns today. He continues to spend his free time learning new techniques, exploring emerging technology, and collaborating with other local fabricators and performance shops.
When he’s not in the shop, you’ll find him at the track, at a local car show, or enjoying time with family and friends. For Lonnie, this isn’t just work. It’s a passion—and every project is another chance to create something extraordinary.
